The chinabrt.org and worldbrt.net database and websites were created, designed, implemented and maintained by Karl Fjellstrom during 2005-2015, working for ITDP. From March 2016 worldbrt.net and chinabrt.org are maintained by ITDP, while Far East Mobility maintains the database at this site.
From the sites' beginning in 2005, the objective has been to provide reliable information about BRT systems.
